myrecovery is a digital health startup transforming the way that surgery is delivered. We are building intelligent technology that allows surgeons to treat more patients, safer – whilst improving clinical outcomes, patient experience and reducing the cost of care. We launched in 2016 and we are growing rapidly, being live with leading orthopaedic surgeons and centres across the UK, Europe & US. www.myrecovery.ai

We are building something big together. As a start-up we like to roll our sleeves up, whilst at the same time nurturing your individual goals and ambitions.

We are seeking a QA Engineer to own the quality assurance function across our mobile (patient app) and web (clinician dashboard) products. You will work closely with our web, backend, mobile, content and data teams, to define acceptance criteria and ensure that deployed products are always of a high quality. Our products are live with major enterprise clients, and large surgeon / patient cohorts, across the globe (Europe, US, Australia).

We are looking for problem-solvers who are committed and analytical, keen to learn while always being delivery minded, self-starters for whom everything is possible but the best solution is always the most appropriate one. We require applicants to have some experience of QA for software products, including exposure to automation tools. The role would suit an experienced QA individual who is looking to increase their knowledge and exposure to automation, and start to take ownership of the QA function across a lively start-up.

Above all we want to hire people that we’ll love working with every day - whether talented rookies or seasoned pros. Start-ups don’t really run on venture capital, they run on the energy of employees - we’re looking for high energy people.

What we want you to do:

  • Champion quality across all of our products, and all teams
  • Create and lead the execution of test plans for key product functions (mobile, web)
  • Create acceptance criteria for new product features
  • Create and lead the execution of test plans for new product features, in line with acceptance criteria
  • Create JIRA tickets for test plan failures
  • Create JIRA tickets for support issues (patients, clinicians, internal)
  • Create and lead the execution of test plans for product releases, liaising with crowdsourced testing
  • Introduce increased level of automation across all our integration testing (we already have good unit test coverage)

Salary:

Very competitive, depending on experience.

Benefits:

  • 25 days paid holiday
  • EMI share options scheme
  • Pension contributions
  • Bright, modern startup office, near Gospel Oak / Kentish Town, London
